The Cape Symphony is seeking musicians who possess a high level of technical mastery, musical imagination, and entrepreneurial vision to help us evolve classical music for a new generation. The Cape Symphony is one of the fastest growing and largest budgeted orchestras in the region. At the Cape Symphony, our mission is to “Inspire Joy.”

The Cape Symphony is a per-service orchestra; principal rate for 2023–24 is $178.88 per service. For the 2023–24 season, there will be 5 Masterpiece concerts with 4 rehearsals and 2 concerts each, 4 Pops concerts with 1–2 rehearsals and 2–6 concerts each, 2 educational programs, and other special events throughout the year, including summer programs. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. The winning candidate may become a tenured member after a probationary period.
