In my years of experience in Flute Didactics I was able to see that learning to express oneself musically requires both physical and psychic maturity, which can be reached with a didactic and psycho-kinesthetic study approach. The development of this musical awareness cannot ignore the acquisition, control and understanding, therefore of the basic elements of physiology and psychology that lies behind the emission act, understood not as a single technical act aimed at sound emission, but a real conscious act of construction of the sonic identity, which is reflected in the final product of the implementation of musical thought.
