Bill McBirnie is a highly acclaimed and internationally renowned jazz/Latin flutist. Bill is the author of a book on The Technique and Theory of Improvisation, and his most recent album, The Silent Wish (with Bernie Senensky), was nominated for a 2020 Juno award as “Best Instrumental Album of the Year”.

Dr. Hummel performs as an Altus and Azumi flute artist. She is founder and director of Dr. Cate’s Flute Camp, a day camp for flute students based in the Chicago suburbs. She is Adjunct Professor of Flute at the University of St. Francis and teaches privately both in person and online.

Irina Nekipelova teaches flute at the Mravinsky St. Petersburg Children's Art School and is the author of the “Young Virtuoso” competition, dedicated to Ernesto Köhler. Awards: a personal award from the Y.Zhorno Charitable Foundation, gratitude and a certificate of honor of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg, an honorary badge and an award of the Government of St. Petersburg “For the humanization of the school”.

Ludwig Böhm is a great-great-grandson of Theobald Böhm (flautist, composer, flute-maker, inventor of the Böhm flute, Munich 1794–1881), who dedicated his life to keep the memory of Theobald alive. He is the President of the Theobald Böhm Archive, the Theobald Böhm Society and the Theobald Böhm Foundation. He is the organizer of the International Theobald Böhm Competition.

He has been a member of the most important symphony orchestras in Lima and is currently developing an intense work as a composer whose works have been premiered in Peru, USA, Brazil, Paraguay and Serbia. He is the author of software for flute teaching and of a device that optimizes the sound quality of the flute.

Maurizio Bignardelli is an internationally recognized author of music research and musical reviews for publishers Ut Orpheus, Zimmermann, Bèrben, and Da Vinci. He has worked with RAI, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Lyric Institute of Cagliari, the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. Maurizio has recorded 45 solo and chamber CDs and is a flute professor at the "Respighi" Conservatory of Latina.
