This year has started well for us as we have overcome the pandemic that held the world back in 2020-21. 2022 will definitely be a great year. Don’t let the problems and challenges we’ve encountered discourage you. Seek and believe that you will make it this year. Don’t forget that you must stay focused, determined to achieve what you want. YOU CAN DO IT!
Below are 5 tips for achieving greatness and staying focused:
Tip 1: Passion
I like to use the word passion interchangeably with the words “determination”, “conviction” and “love”.
Passion is a strong desire that can make you do amazing things. Without action, passion does not produce worthy results. Passion is the fuel in the fire of action. When you have a passion for something, you love it even if you hate it. Make sure you are passionate about what you do. It has to come from within you. Don’t do something and don’t pursue a career because someone else is doing it. Do it because you love it and you have such a passion for it.
Tip 2: Pray
Prayer draws our attention to God in a two-way spiritual relationship as we talk to God as well as listen to Him. Prayer is like a child talking to his father. It is natural for a child to ask his father for things he needs, or to ask for advice or guidance. Prayer is a powerful tool for achieving greatness. Always pray for everything, God is the greatest and He can help you achieve all your goals in life. So talk to Him about your aspiration and passion before you take any steps. Don’t forget that you must stay focused, determined to achieve what you want.
Tip 3: Plan
A plan is usually any diagram or list of steps with details of the time and resources used to accomplish the goal of doing something. This is usually understood as a temporary set of intended actions by which the goal is expected to be achieved. Make a plan for how you will achieve your goals. If you want to learn how to play a musical instrument, decide how, on what days you will rehearse, do you need a coach? What is your goal? How long will it take you to do this? Plan plan plan.
Tip 4: Get materials
Get all necessary materials that will enable you actualize your dream. However, you must understand that before getting material; it is penitent to come up with a plan first (That’s why plan is Tip3 before Tip4). With the right materials and proper planning, you’ll easily be able to achieve your goals. For example you want to be a flutist get a flute, get materials that you can learn with. eg, training materials, flute stand, flute exercise notes……
Get all the materials you need to make your dream come true. However, you must understand this before receiving the material; it’s penitent to come up with a plan first (which is why the Plan is Tip 3 and not Tip 4). With the right materials and proper planning, you can easily achieve your goals. For example, if you want to become a flute player, get a flute and materials with which you can learn. e.g. practicing materials, a music stand, flute exercises, pieces, research and watch flute videos, etc
Tip 5: Believe
Only if a person believes in something, he can act purposefully. Faith does not require proof, just acceptance. It can also mean having CONFIDENCE. Believe that you can, believe in yourself, believe that you can achieve anything you set out to do. See the big picture, see your accomplishments, and you will succeed.
